True American I can tell you with unequivocal honesty, that as I sat watching TV. on what was an otherwise uneventful September day, everything that I could muster emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually and patriotically came to a tragically painful and subsequent remorseful show of expression due to the terrorist attacks on The World Trade Center’s. I watched in wretched horror as my sense of self Love, Liberty and Security, Family and Patriotism was all but removed by these DESPICABLE acts of Disrespect, Aggression and utter Disregard for American’s lives and the Freedom that the American way of life so vividly suspected in premise and principle. I began to feel a great sense of Rage, Hatred, lost, Bitterness and Utter Degradation, although revenge wasn’t my motive, I did want to exact a measure of equality. I wanted those Arab’s to feel the same sense of Vulnerability and uncertainty on American soil much like the mindset of chaos and bedlam that they were already accustomed to in their home country. How dare they come to America and be at peace and find comfort in country, Our Country, My Country, America, and here we are under-siege at home because we are The Land of Freedom. My sense of Anger surged when I reflected upon the past that I’m a Tax Paying Citizen whose hard earned dollars has been sent to those whose countries, as a means of humanitarian aide, there homeland was a place our country fed when they were starving, medicated when sick, clothed when naked or cold, educated when in error and gave willing assistance and defended when they were under attack. I look at the FACT that OVER 3,000 Innocent Americans, AS WELL AS MY 27 year old SISTER LOST THEIR LIVES because some foreigner felt a need to make a Statement at the Expense of Innocent People. Well, I felt as Americans we needed to exact some sort of retribution and also make a Statement here at home and abroad. That if we Americans were going to be under-siege here at home then certainly they would have need to feel our pain. My sense of security and my right to live in peace and sanctity was all but shattered. As I began to reflect upon what I could do, would do or better yet should do in the wake of the World Trade Center’s Atrocity. I looked at the situation and took assessment. I then found myself going to the store to make a purchase and there perched behind the counter, here in the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, The Land of the Pilgrims Pride, Land for which my Forefathers Died, the bell of Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness had been Silenced by those people. He was perched behind the counter here in the Land of Milk and Honey, Living The Freedom of Liberty of the Thousand’s of victims of September 11th, and here he is in this country at our expense was this foreigner who’s own people had now Sought to bring the exact same chaos and bewilderment upon our people and society as they lived in themselves at home and abroad. It left me with this sense of just having someone spit in my eye/face. After all our country has done to help build, educate and Liberate their country and to see that these people thought so little of America and consequently The American Way of Life with such Contempt and Utter Disregard. In closing, this was not a crime of hate but an act of Passion and Patriotism, an act of country and commitment, an act of retribution and recompense. The was not done during Peace time but at War time. Anyone Remember This? It was 1987! Lt. Col. Oliver north was testifying at the Iran Contra hearings during the Regan administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator: “Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?” Ollie replied: “Yes, I did, Sir.” The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, “Isn’t that just a little excessive?” “No Sir.” Continued Ollie. “No, and why not?” the senator asked. “Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir.” “Threatened? By whom?” the senator questioned. “By a terrorist, sir” Ollie answered. “Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?” “His name is Osama bin Laden, sir.” Ollie replied. At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn’t pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn’t. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. “Why are you so afraid of this man?” the senator asked. “Because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of”, Ollie answered. “And what do you recommend we do about him?” asked the senator. “Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.” The senator disagreed with this approach. By the way, the good old senator that I have been talking about, “Was Al Gore”. Wait, there’s more: Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release SO-CALLED “Political Prisoners”. However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, “INSISTED” that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the USA by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This has been censored from all American T.V. AMERICAN ME! I LIKE DOMESTIC CARS, MOTORCYCLES, AND WOMEN. I LIKE HAMBURGERS, FRIES AND REGULAR COFFEE, NOT COFFEE THAT TASTE LIKE PANCAKES OR STRAWBERRIES. I LIKE ALICE COOPER, BOB SEGAR, AND HANK WILLIAMS, JR. AND DON’T THINK IT’S WEIRD TO LISTEN TO ALL THREE OF THEM IN THE SAME DAY. I HATE CHILD MOLESTORS OR ANYONE THAT HARMS OR MISTREATS CHILDREN. CHILDREN ARE PURE INNOCENCE. I BELIEVE THAT MOST PEOPLE GET WHAT THEY DESERVE. I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD SAY THANK YOU WHETHER SOMEONE SAVED YOUR LIFE OR HELD A DOOR OPEN FOR YOU. I’M OFTEN CONFUSED ABOUT SEX BUT NEVER SEXUALLY CONFUSED. I MISS WAYLON JENNINGS, THE WORLD TRADE CENTER AND MY GRANDPA. I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE PROUD OF YOUR COUNTRY, BUT NOT NECESSARILY YOUR GOVERNMENT. I TRY NOT TO BE JEALOUS OF THOSE WHO HAVE MORE THAN I DO, AND I DON’T PUT DOWN THOSE WHO HAVE LESS. I BELIEVE MOST PEOPLE DO THE BEST THEY CAN WITH WHAT THEY’VE GOT AND SOMETIMES JUST SURVIVING IS AS IMPORTANT AS WINNING. I THINK WAR VETERNS DESERVE A HELL OF A LOT MORE RESPECT THAN THEY GET. “True American” By Mark A. Stroman 1) I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family not some midlevel governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies. 2) I think playing with toy guns doesn’t make you a killer. I believe ignoring your kids and giving them prozac might. 3) I don’t think being a minority makes you noble or victimized. 4) This is my life to live and not necessarily up to others expectations. 5) I believe that if you are selling me a Dairy Queen shake, a pack og cigarettes or hotel room, you do it in English. As a matter of fact, If you are an American citizen, you should speak English. My uncles and forefathers shouldn’t have had to die in vain so you can leave the country you were born in to come here and disrespect ours and make us bend to your will. 6) I don’t think just because you were not born in this country you qualify for any special loan programs, so you can open a hotel, a 7-Eleven, trinket shop or anything else. 7) I believe a self-righteous liberal democrat with a cause, is more dangerous than a Hells Angel with an attitude. 8) Our soldiers did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in vain and defend our constitution so that decades later you can tell me it’s a living document, ever-changing, and is open to interpretation. The dudes who wrote it are light years ahead of us. So leave it alone. 9) I never owned, or was a slave, and a large percentage of our forefathers weren’t wealthy enough to own one either so stop blaming me because prior white folks owned slaves, and remember tons of white, Indian, Chinese and other races have been slaves too. 10) I don’t believe in “HATE CRIME” legislation, even suggesting it pisses me off. You’re telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country, has more value as a human being than I do as a white male? If ya kill someone that’s a hate-crime. We don’t need more laws, we can’t enforce the ones we got. 11) I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions. “False Motive for London” The Al-Qaeda affiliate that claimed credit for the London bombings cites British involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. This falsehood must be considered in light of not only September 11th, but the long history of Islamic terrorists targeting America and our Allies. We must remember the USS Cole bombing, Khobar Towers and the first World Trade Center attack. These occurred long before the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Do not be fooled by the voices certain to rise who will surely blame America and President Bush as well as Great Britain and Tony Blair, rather than the cowards behind the bombings. Terrorists hope fear will triumph, as it did following the Madrid bombings that led Spain to pull out of Iraq. They will continue to target innocents. A review of the history of Islamic terrorism should strengthen the resolve of America and our Allies, rather than weakening it. Our British friends were our strongest Ally after September 11th, 2001. July 18th, 2005 Iraq vs. Washington D.C. This might be a good plan let's move the politicians out too!!!! For all the "Why Are We In Iraq?" Whiners..... There has been an average of 160,000 Troop's In Theater (Iraq) during the last few years, which has a firearm death rate of "60" per "100,000". The rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000. That means that you are more likely to be shot and killed in our nations capital, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation! *Conclusion* We should immediately pull out of good Ole Washington D.C.! "Politically Corrected" Recently I received a warning about the use of this politically incorrect term that most Americans use, and especially the deep Southerner's down here in Texas, so please note, We All Need To Be More Sensitive In Our Choice Of Words. I was informed that the Islamic Terrorists who hate our guts and want to kill us don't like to be called "Towel Heads" since the iten they wear on their heads is Not a towel, but actually a small folded sheet. Therefore, from this point forward, please refer to them Islamic Terrorists as "Little Sheet Heads". Thank you for your support and compliance on this delicate matter.
